“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

-Jesus Christ, Acts 1:8

What is the purpose of the ACTS in Faith campaign?
We believe God has given a new vision to the people of Redeemer for the coming years…we call it the Acts 1:8 Vision. It is rooted in the command that Jesus gave to his followers over 2000 years ago in Acts 1:8. This command is as urgent for us today as it was back when the church was in its infancy. The ACTS in Faith campaign will take us on a journey to provide the resources (both financial and spiritual) to make this vision a reality!

What are the components of the campaign?
Based on campaign pledges to date, financial budgets have been set for each of the three geographic areas addressed in Acts 1:8. Our ability to carry out these projects is dependent upon how much is raised. But we will manage our resources among these projects in order to maximize kingdom impact. (Click on each compenent for expanded details).

"You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem…" (the greater Fridley area)

"You will be my witnesses in Judea and Samaria…" (the surrounding region)

"You will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth" (the world)

Why are we doing this now?
The Acts 1:8 Vision has been formulating over the past two years and has become increasingly clear in the hearts and minds of our leadership. Redeemer turned 90 in 2006. What a tribute to the faithfulness of those who have gone before us, if we take the next steps of faith to reach those outside the kingdom in new ways.
