There is a need to upgrade areas of the facility that have not been addressed in recent years. Upgrading these areas will allow us to provide more effective ministry. Major areas include:

• Children’s Ministry – Redeemer values children. With a desire to reach out to families with children, making the children’s areas more welcoming and inviting is important. Upgrades will include fresh paint, carpeting, and room dividers.

• Activity Center – This is one of the most used of all of our facilities and an area where we regularly welcome outside groups and visitors. The ceiling requires replacement and with it the opportunity to revise the room and stage lighting.

• Bathrooms – Bathrooms make a statement about the quality of an organization. Our bathrooms require renovations so that their warmth and appearance is consistent with the quality of ministry at Redeemer.

• Sanctuary Enhancements – in order to enhance the quality of video and other projection, we will install a permanent projection system and install dimmers on the light fixtures.

Other areas identified include:

• Replace the Sanctuary carpet
• Purchase 100 additional Activity Center chairs
• Sanctuary soundproofing
• Purchase additional classroom, Commons and main office furniture
• Update the exterior sign
• Install permanent projection capability in the Fellowship Hall and Chapel
• Install technology in the Commons including computer kiosks to access Redeemer’s website and monitors to display meeting information and other instructional information for navigating the building
