Redeemer Gardens

And God said, let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit-trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so.

The gardens were planted around Redeemer in 2004 during a facilities upgrade to enhance and beautify the grounds. It's felt a well-maintained landscape may give reason for people to look into the church. And because God created the flowers of the field, it's felt we should use them for his purpose.

The Redeemer Gardens is truly a service ministry. These gardens are planted and maintained by volunteers. A list of individuals who can be notified when work is required is kept. And any individual or group, whether novice or master gardener, can serve and are most welcome (and needed). The ministry holds very few meetings. Work is done when new plants arrive or weeds need to be removed.
